Jeweled belts on your wedding gown. They add an elegant touch.

Dear Cheap Chic Weddings,

My fiancee and I broke up. We already received gifts for our shower. Do we have to return the gifts and money?

Dear Rachel,

Sorry about your break up but the right thing to do is to return all gifts and money. This applies to shower, wedding and engagement gifts.

Best Regards,

Love It! Hate It!

Love It!:

*Fluffy wedding dresses.

*Simple, hand-tied bouquets

*Glitzy hair accents

Hate It!:

*Fondant. Itís is so popular and an art form in itself but it just tastes gross and looks inedible.

We love cameo silhouettes for wedding decorations. You can have one of the groom and the bride as well as family and attendants. Use them as place cards or hang them around the reception room.

You can order them from but they are not cheap. A very inexpensive alternative is to make them yourself. Itís a simple DIY project.

A. Take a profile photo of your subject. B. Print out the photo and then cut out your subject making sure to leave all the details. (small scissors work best) C. Trace your cut out photo onto black paper (traditional) or use your wedding colors for a more modern, fun look.

You can find full instructions online by googling cameo silhouettes.

Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end.
