Money Saving Tips

* Get organized. Make a notebook and make a budget. Getting and staying organized will help you keep track of spending and will save you money in the long run!

* Plan your reception for an off-peak time. Peak times may vary by area. Saturdays are generally the most popular. Consider a Friday Night or Sunday.

* Stretch your flower budget by adding more greenery or decorative items, like twigs, branches or garden cuttings.

Fresh Ideas

Let it shine! Metallics are as hot as ever! Gold and Rose Gold are being used in every type of wedding imaginable! Silver…not so much…

Q&A

In this edition we would like to answer the question we get asked the most!!

What is your number one tip for saving money on a wedding? We always say “Keep your guest list as small as possible”. When you keep your guest list under control, you save money on every aspect of your wedding from venue size to food!

Love It! Hate It!

Love It!

We love when couples make their wedding day all about who they are and what they love!

Hate it!

Obstructive centerpieces! Be sure you test the height and width of your centerpieces (especially if you’re making your own). You want your guests to have a great time and enjoy the company of those they’re sitting with. Make sure they can all see each other!

Reviews

For all of you Techie Couples…Check out the Wedding Registry at BestBuy.com! They have some great choices on everything to setting up your home to fun entertainment stuff. There is even an option for your guests to contribute to larger items.

Inspiration

“There is no greater happiness for a man than approaching a door at the end of a day knowing someone on the other side of that door is waiting for the sound of his footsteps.” ~Ronald Reagan
