Bulk Stores A Great Option As Well For Bridal Flowers!

by Jamie
(Shelby, Montana)

For my friend's wedding,I purchased four dozen roses from Costco, a spool of florist's wire, and a roll of floral tape from a local craft store.

This all came in at under 60 dollars. Since the rose bouquets already had coordinating blooms and greens in them, I simply took all of them apart and started arranging!

There was reds, pinks, yellows, and whites, and I made a very large bouquet for the bride, four smaller bouquets for us bridesmaids, and about twenty assorted boutonnieres and corsages.

I put the bouquets in a bucket with some water, and all the others into seperate sandwich baggies in the fridge. On the way to the ceremony the next afternoon, I bought a cheap roll of cream colored satin ribbon (about 2 dollars), and wrapped the boquets before we all walked down the isle. I

It was cheap, super easy, and they looked amazing! Her family kept asking where she bought the arrangements, and kept commenting on how beautiful they were.

All of the big bulk stores have a floral case, as well as other stores (i.e. Wal-mart, Rosauers, Albertsons) and the extra flowers to make the the arrangements look professionally done are already wrapped up with all the others.

And best of all - roses aren't your only choice... next week I will be making arrangements for another friend, and they will have tons of lillies for Easter. And she loves lillies!

Short on time and money
by: deb

What a great idea!

My grand-daughter wants to have a simple wedding on VERY short notice, May 4th, because her father is being deployed to the Afganistan for a year.

She is fearful and wants the wedding before he leaves. So I'm searching for anything that is quick and inexpensive.

Thanks so much, d
