Sweet and Simple Flower Girl Basket And Accessory Ideas

The basket usually holds flower petals, either real or silk or even potpourri to match the wedding colors.

A flower girl basket can run anywhere from $25.00 to $85.00! You can save so much by making a basket yourself.

It's so simple:

• Take a small white basket and glue silk hydrangeas, roses or daisies all over the basket (the more the better) until it's completely covered. Wrap the handle with ribbon. You can also tie ribbon at the bottom of the handle and let ends dangle.

• For a warm weather wedding, take a small wicker basket and just hot glue a few silk flowers (like daisies) on either side of the handle

• For a cooler weather wedding, cover the basket in satin and embellish with flowers or ribbon

Flower girl headpieces could be:

• Veils

• Bows

• Barrettes

• Tiaras

• Headbands

• Or my favorite, a flower
