My Free Dream Wedding Gown

I am a member of a recycling web site called Freecycle. I simply posted my request for a wedding dress and listed size and specificatons and recieved it the very next day. I also got the tuxes, bridesmaid dresses, flowerrs and decorations this way.

My band is a friend's. A friend will marry us, and the venue is at another friends estate with a winery.

My wedding budget consists of one thing..food. My mom is a baker so she is doing my cake.

So the whole thing will be under $500.00... and thats for 100 guest! I even got all my favors for free!!!

I just wanted to add something. One person mentioned that "their freecycle group isn't that nice" my suggestion would be to join another freecycle groups within a reasonable distance from your home. I belong to a few in the state my parents and I currently live in and a few in my bfs (soon to be fiance) area. I've learned that certain areas ( the richer areas for lack of better wording) tend to be the best bet on free stuff. I've gotten tons of nice things if you are willing to travel a little. For example, 20 minutes for a coach bag and 1hr( one way) for a dresser set for my sister. How bad do you want it? lol....gl everyone

Fantastic job!!! I believe their is a Freecycle just about everywhere. You can go to www.freecycle.org to find a group near you.
