Sell, Sell, Sell! You'll most likely be moving after your wedding right?? Sell everything you don't want to pack! Second weddings are even better because you are almost certainly going to have multiples of furniture and household items between the two of you!! Try a garage sale or website like craigslist (ads are posted for free!) You'll be suprised how much extra money you can make. One man's trash is another man's treasure right??!!

you could also ask friends and family for their goodwill/salvation army donations to sell at your garage sale.

It's a great idea. I got money for my wedding by having a garage sale too. I got rid of stuff I no longer need and I have an extra $193 towards my wedding. It was easy to do and I killed 2 birds with one stone.

Since my wedding isn't until September '09, I am planning to have another garage sale before that.
