My fiancee and I have been planning little things, since our wedding isn't going to be for another three years (we want to both finish school first).

One thing we have decided on, however, are the favors. We're going to be giving each person a little tag, telling them that in lieu of spending money on favors that would either end up being eaten, given away, or just not appreciated in general, we've decided to take the money we would have spent on favors, and donate it to a charity (we're deciding between Yellow Brick House, a shelter for battered women and children in Toronto area, and World Vision, a more global option...we may end up doing both!)
