I sew So....

My husband and I had a non traditional wedding, so buying a store/designer made dress wasn't an option.
Fortunatly I am able to sew and have experience making a lot of different things. I found a pattern I liked, I shoppped on-line to find something on sale. Even patterns can get expensive.
Then I shopped around for the fabric I liked. I actually ended up buying a light weight upholstery fabric in an ivory color with an embossed pattern to add some texture.
Once the basic dress was made I added the finer details to make work with our wedding, the total cost of the dress was $400, and looked fantastic! ( If I do say so myself)
