Keep It Simple
I'm having a wedding in July, and I plan on having a bakery make my wedding cake, with all the delicious flavors and fillings.
However, I'm significantly cutting costs because I'm buying it blank. White cake, no designs, no colors, no flowers, nothing.
I plan to buy satin ribbon myself and wrap it around the bottom of each layer, (like they do in the bakeries) and I'm putting fresh flowers on it (that I'm already ordering for my wedding).
They are just going to make the cake and make it delicious, and I'm going to decorate it myself, and its going to be awesome.
Everyone knows that the expense isn't in the cake, it's in the decorations.
