Tip for Keeping Your Colors Consistent

Once you've chosen the colors for your wedding, you should also pick out the shades--particularly if you have people helping you shop.


For example, if you want green for your colors, you don't want people coming back with everything from Forest Green to Neon Lime.


Here's a tip to help keep your colors consistent. Drop by the paint section of a hardware store and pick up some color strips in the shade you prefer. The strip will give you three or four shades that will all match up well together.

Pass them out to anyone who will be helping you pick up supplies and decor for your reception, so you don't end up with clashing colors.
