Using the resources around you.

Being a high school teacher, I have access to a number of items that save money for a wedding reception: culinary arts program, strings program in the music department, and a student who makes cakes... we are talking about the recipe already and making slight changes to it.

Not only am I able to get more of my students involved in our big day, but the cost will be considerably less than hiring professionals to cater the event.
