I got married this past December and my father was having a rough time, so my fiance and I decided to pay for it on our own.

My family has always been about tradition so for the catering every family member brought a special familiar dish to the ceremony.

My mother made the flower bouquets and my aunt (who loves to cook) made our cake. it turned out great and for under $1,000 too :)

Trust in some family members if you are a little empty in the pocket, but remember it's your wedding. Make sure to include your husband too lol
