Oh, don't forget, it wouldn't hurt to win $500.00 or some free wedding favors from our store.

Money Saving tip

A well known wedding planner suggests Skipping the champagne toast. Let your guests toast you with the drinks they already have.

New Ideas

The hot wedding gown trends we're seeing this season are: black and white dresses (more black than we've seen in the past), jackets, A-line skirts a little wider than usual and pink.

Yes pink is the trend again. It is bigger than ever. This trend is becoming a classic staple. Not only for wedding gowns but we're seeing it on everything from rings and shoes to the groom's shirt.

Dear Cheap Chic Weddings,

I have a suggestion for cheap catering, wedding cakes even cookie wedding favors.  We have a school here in AZ for high school students that want to learn a trade called EVIT (East Valley Institute of Technology).  They have a culinary program for students that want to go into that field that does baking of wedding cakes, pastries, cookie favors, and full breakfast, lunch or dinner catering.  A three tiered Danish Layer wedding cake  (four layer cake with raspberry, apricot and Bavarian cream filling) for 65 people is only $55. plus $30 delivery and set up fee.  You can't beat that price.  There are culinary schools in most major cities that have similar programs for catering and baking.

Hi Cindy,

Thanks so much for the suggestion. What a great idea!

Best Regards,

Love It.........Hate It

Love It:

* Lace covered wedding shoes. Oh so feminine.

* Simple classic color schemes for your wedding. Easy to put together and stunning. (i.e.. green/white or pink/white)

* double-duty wedding programs. Print your program on a fan/ cd favor or table card.

Hate It:

*wedding day rip offs. Steep corkage fees are outrageous. Check that your not paying too much. $15 fee should be a red flag. $3 is about right.

We love for do-it-yourself invitations.

You can get all the papers at WalMart. The site gives you the templates for your invites and you print them yourself. They also have a design section for inspiration.

There is no more lovely, friendly and charming relationship, communion or company than a good marriage.
