Money Saving Tips

Seek out a caterer that is just starting out. They may be willing to cut you a deal. More money saving good news....cocktail receptions are still gaining in popularity.

New Ideas

*All white bouquets (a "trend" that is classic) are huge again. *Princes Catherine has helped bring back sleeves to the wedding gown. We'll be seeing a lot of that and less strapless dresses. *Grand exits are coming back. It's a nice way to end the party, leaving in a grand way. And it doesn't have to be an added expense.

Dear LeeAnn,

We've just started wedding planning and my head is already spinning with the cost of everything. We have a pretty tight budget -- what is the best way to cut wedding costs?

Dear Molly,

The number one best way to cut costs is to cut your guest list. Many couples have a hard time with this but look at it this way: if each table seats ten guests, that's $40-$50 per meal plus a table centerpiece at $50- $150 and roughly $10-$20 worth of drinks per person. So cutting out ten guests can save you up to $800 and a lot of stress.

Love It! Hate It!

Love It!:

* Mini cupcakes - They are cheap to buy or easy to make and just enough "wedding cake" for most people. * Tequila Tastings at the reception. * Ankle Leis for a beach wedding. They add tropical whimsy to your celebration attire.

Hate It!:

* Music at the reception that you can't dance to.

We love T-Tapp! It's the best exercise program ever. I personally have lost 6 inches in one week and my mom lost 12 inches...without dieting!
