Found my dream wedding dress in the newspaper ads

I wanted a formal wedding dress but knew that I could not afford one anywhere near the prices they want for wedding gowns these days. And I couldn't bring myself to pay those kinds of prices for something that I would only wear one time in my life.
So, I decided to shop the newspaper ads. I did not think that I would find anything that was as beautiful as I wanted for the simple fact that I was what you call a full figured women. I thought, "What are the chances of finding one in my size."
After just a time or two of searching the ads we came upon a full figured dress that was not only large enough for me but was affordable. I drove to where it was and tried it on and loved it. It was a $1600.00 wedding dress. I got it for $200.00 and she threw in the veil which was a $1200.00 veil as well.
The woman that had it was so large that pieces had to be put in it to make it fit her. It cost me $30.00 for alterations. I ended up with a $2800.00 gown and veil for only $230.00. What a steal!!! The neat thing was after all the pieces that had been added were taken out it was a perfect fit! I was thrilled.
It was the most beautiful gown I have ever seen with lots of appliques, sequins and pearls. Just what I wanted! Needless to say I felt like a queen on my wedding day!
It did not bother me that it was worn one other time by someone else either!
