Rice KRispie Treat Cake

Neither my sister or her fiance were big cake eaters but they both shared a love of rice krispie treats (who doesn't love them?)

So for her wedding I made a three tiered rice krispie cake, it was very elegantly decorated with columns and flowers. I added some corn starch to the recipe to make the cakes hold shape (they were formed by pressing into different size cake pans)

Then we covered the cake table with individually wrapped rice krispie for the guests to enjoy at the reception or to take home.

The treats were wrapped in ribbon and tagged. This was perfect for a casual, outdoor summer wedding and so unique that the guests are still talking about it ten years later!
